Ontario County Public Health: 32 new COVID-19 cases Sept. 27

HOPEWELL — Ontario County Public Health is reporting 32 new COVID-19 cases Sept. 27 and 22 new cases Sunday, Sept. 26.

Cases were reported Monday throughout the county, health staff said. They range in age from over 5 to under 80. Four people were too young for vaccination.

Health staff reported 51 recoveries over the weekend.

Since the start of the pandemic, 8,720 cases have been reported; 116 people have died and 8,374 people have recovered.

Ontario County remains in the High category for transmission, which is the highest level, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
